Granted, living life based on what you hope others will see in you is not the healthiest way to go, but in this instance it’s truly more about you than it is about them anyway. What do the furnishings say about you as a person? Are you comfortable with the single futon mattress you’ve had since your college days, or is it time to move from the single mattress lifestyle to the California King lifestyle, one worthy of who you’ve become over the years?

Check out your kitchen, the bathroom, all the bedrooms in the house; Are there any idle appliances lying around doing nothing, that you could get rid of or donate to charity? Does the carpeting need to be replaced by newer carpeting, or removed altogether to make way for the Brazilian teak flooring that lay just beneath?

Figuring out what steps you can take to better improve your home living situation is largely a personal process, but one that can be fulfilling and rewarding, ultimately setting you up for a lifetime of self-satisfied bliss and happiness.
