Due to the fact that they are handmade from all over the world (including Spain, India, Pakistan, and China, to name a few) they can be a valuable and expensive commodity. Not to say that you won’t be able to find an amazing discount, or a few on sale, but prices are based on certain criteria. You can have a modern round rug, rectangular rug, square rug. There are even some standard rug measurements some of which are: 2’x3’, 4’x6’, 7‘x10’.

Bearing all that in mind, a very simple round shag rug approx. 6’ in diameter will cost around $190 – new. If you are looking for something of higher quality, expect to pay in excess of $600 for the same size.
