This material is great for keeping your floor clear from dust, water, oil, etc. It does not stain easily, and are easily cleaned. You just have use a hose and spray it down. There is nothing more to it.

In addition, rubber flooring tends to be less slippery than some other materials, and holds its’ color better. Some mats tend to lose their color when exposed to the elements for a long time.

Rubber is also one of the best for avoiding tearing. All in all, this material tends to last longer than others.

Disadvantages

These mats are not the best looking. They are definitely about substance over style.

They obviously come in many different prices. You can pay as little as ten dollars to as much as fifty or more.

Shopping online will always be slightly cheaper. Why? Because there are simply so many sites that sell floor mats online, that the increase competition drives the prices down.

Also, remember that these stores do not have to pay to upkeep any physical locations. This means they have higher profit margins, and can therefore charge less.

Amazon, Craigslist and eBay are a few of the best places to start. Obviously you will save money by buying used. Since they last so long, it is really not to difficult to find used mats that are still in great condition.

The bottom line is, if you want functionality over looks, than a rubber floor mat would be a good investment. They are cheaper than most others, and last longer. And if you are okay with waiting awhile while it gets shipped, then shopping online would be your best bet.
