There are many machines that claim to be the best rice cooker but this is something that we have to decide on a personal level. Some of us are interested in being able to buy a cheap product, others want the functionality of having the option to make bread and cakes in their machine, while others just want a rice cooker that can make the best tasting rice. In this Sanyo ECJ-JG10W review I want to talk about Sanyo’s top of the range rice cooker than can be used for a variety of cooking needs as well as produce some really great textured, delicious rice.
When we look at the technology that is packed into the ECJ-JG10W we can see that the price, at over $300 is warranted. It has Micom, Induction Heating and Variable Pressure technology. These three components mean that your rice will come out tasting great and with an amazing texture. But is this the best rice cooker for you?
The Sanyo ECJ-JG10W is made by the Japanese manufacturer Sanyo. Not only is it made by a Japanese firm, this model is actually only assembled in Japan itself. This means that you can be sure that it is put together to the highest standards. To be honest, I am not sure if it really makes a difference where it is made, but customers are often keen to have a genuine Japanese electrical product.
There are a host of different cooking options that this rice cooker offers. There is slow cooker functionality that means it can be used to make soups and stews. In addition, it comes with a steaming rack that sits on top of the rice cooking bowl. This is great for making healthy vegetables as well as things like shrimp. And of course, there are a range of settings for various types of rice.
