Creating a White Country Bedroom

Oftentimes country styles can be a little bit juvenile or even overwhelming. It may make your room feel a little bit cluttered. A white bedroom can really solve all of this. It can make the same theme work within a small space or just lend an air of sophistication into your room and can even work with ceramic tiles. This is so important because you can still get a theme room but you can still have a room that works within your space. Here are a few tips on how to do this.

Make a statement with your bedding. You may already have white furniture and white walls but you need to just add a little bit of that country charm. An easy way to this is with a quilt. Of course some options are quite colorful. However, you may find one made out of different scraps of white fabric or you could even just make a patchwork project yourself. This will really add a lot of charm to your bedding and can even give more of a rustic feel to a four poster bed. The really great thing about this is that this will be quite lightweight, so it’s the perfect kind of piece for the summer months.

Add in accessories. This is really a chance to bring in beautiful watercolor pictures, ceramic animals and even hang plates on the wall. However, since you will keep them all white it will really blend in and just add a very interesting feeling to your entire space. This will really give a lot of importance to items that you pick up at thrift stores. You might even be able to create your entire theme just from accessories. This can be very charming in a guestroom or even in a little girl’s room. When you decorate with this kind of color palette you really have to push yourself to find unique ways to save on your budget.
