Spruce Up Your Decor With Candles

Black candles are usually over looked due to the fact that they are thought of around Halloween time or even in a time of mourning. However, the use of black candles around your home can really add a bit of personality and uniqueness to any candle decoration.  You can use them to add a little boldness to candle accents you already have in place, or you can design a new arrangement with the black candle as the focal point.   Here are some examples of how adding black candles will spruce up your decor.

Adding a candle arrangement to your main bathroom or guest room is a cheap yet classy way to decorate.   Not only are they inexpensive, but you can match them to just about any style of décor.  Perhaps you have countertops that are cultured marble, tile or granite with some form of black accent throughout the hard surface.  Adding a few light colored pillar candles with a few accenting black ones will bring together the candle assembly and countertops effectively.

Candles will make any bedroom romantic, no matter what their color.  Strategically placing a few candles around the room will add a bit of elegance as well as provide a nice low light for those romantic evenings.   Open up your mind to adding something new to your room’s appearance with a variety of different color candles.   Adding a few on your night stands or shelves is an inexpensive way to change the ambiance of your bedroom.  It is a nice lovely decorative piece and for those nights in, you already have installed mood lighting.

No matter what type of candle you want to use, whether it be black taper candles, pillar, or tea lights, you really can’t go wrong.  You can easily move them around so if you want to spruce up another room or perhaps change colors, you can switch them out with other candles in your home.
